Rear view showing strike linkage into the mahogany base ,this one strikes on a whitechapel bell ,unlike the Condliff originals which struck the hrs on a blued steel gong. Base was made by Meyrick Neilsons son John in Bath UK from timber saved from a Victorian side board.
